Thermo‐Sensitive Eu <sup>III</sup> Coordination Polymers with Amorphous Networks

Luminescent EuIII coordination polymer with amorphous transformation and thermo-sensing abilities under higher temperature, [Eu(hfa)3(tppa)n]m (hfa: hexafluoroacetylacetonate, tppa: tri-diphenylphosphoryl-4,4,4-triphenylamine) is reported. The glass transition decomposition temperatures are found to be 142 °C 270 °C, respectively. intrinsic emission quantum yield Φ4f−4f of was estimated 69 % in solid state. shows effective decrease the lifetime upon increasing temperature from 320 400 K. temperature-depended caused by back energy transfer emitting level ion (5D0) LLCT band (tppa ligand hfa ligand) [Eu(hfa)3(tppa)n]m. Thermo-sensitive lanthanide luminophore stable formation (>100 °C) useful for surface detection field high-speed wind tunnel experiments such as aircraft automobile designs.
